Measuring Tools

Our measuring tools include distance meters that determine precise measurements between two objects. They come in several different types from a laser distance meter to a sonar or ultrasonic to even a long range distance meter. Laser distance meters are best when they are accurate to within ( /-) 1 mm and have a range of more than 600 feet. Sonar or ultrasonic distance meters have a laser eye used only as a pointing device but use sound waves, not a laser to measure distances. A sonar distance meter is usually precise to within ( /-) 6 inches and up to about 50 feet.
