Proprietary FDA-grade polystyrene resin is uniformly distributed throughout the entire scoop to ensure even fragments are detectable. Black color can be easily seen against most contrasting materials. Blue color conforms to industry-recognized standards for metal-detectable materials.


The 2 and 4 oz scoops feature a long-handle design to reduce user contamination and flat bottoms that stay upright for use as weighing boats. Individually gamma sterilized and packaged in polyethylene bags with lot stamps for traceability.
