Rapidly digest your samples with this easy-to-use digestor. Heater is insulated on all four sides and bottom for heat retention and low energy consumption.

This digestor features individual ceramic heater modules for each tube—providing efficient, uniform heat transfer. Unlike aluminum block designs, ceramic models have virtually the same coefficient of heat expansion as the digestion tube. This means more rapid destruction of organic material resulting in faster digestions. Digestion times range from 25 to 45 minutes depending on sample type and catalyst.

Each heater accepts up to four 250-mL digestion tubes. Ceramic heater assembly is housed in a chemically etched aluminum casing with two fold-down handles. An automatic monitoring system has one external light that blinks red when digestor reaches preset temperature. The digestor heats to 410°F (210°C) in less than one hour.

Overall dimensions are 9"W x 11-1/4"D x 6-7/8"H. Control unit dimensions are 6-3/4"W x 8-1/8"D x 5-1/4"H. Carrier rack dimensions are 6-1/4"W x 6-1/4"D x 6-1/2"H.

Accessories
Straight tubes have uniform wall thickness, heavy-duty retention lip, and contoured bottom. Volumetric tubes have a calibration mark. Order separately.
