By using the UltraMax® image enhancement technology you can increase the resolution to 645,888 pixels. The cameras are equipped with a laser-assisted autofocus which accurately captures sharp thermal images and spot-on temperature readings.
Scratch-resistant 4" touch-screen LCD offers an easy-to-navigate menu and two programmable buttons. An on-screen laser distance measurement function helps determine accessibility of components for repair.
Each model offers a 5-megapixel digital camera with built-in LED photo/video lamp and interchangeable AutoCal optics that can be shared between T500-series cameras without the need for secondary pairing or factory recalibration. Optics include a 24° standard lens, 42° wide angle lens, and 14° telephoto lens. Other features include built-in voice annotation, text comments with auto-fill, and image sketch.
