Flat, bright white Pyroceram® brand glass ceramic top material provides uniform heating, is easy to clean, and resists scratches, corrosion, and chemicals. The housing features a spill trough to deflect spills away from the display and control knobs. Electronics are sealed and enclosed to protect against harsh chemicals. An external support rod holder let you mount a thermometer, electrode, or burette. Hot plates feature a LED light to warn you if temperature exceeds 140°F (60°C). Temperature display is adjustable in 5° increments and indicates when set temperature is reached.
