Damaged seals, o-rings, pistons, and tip holders compromise the air tightness of the pipettes, leading to inaccurate dispensing. The leak tester depressurizes the pipette, monitors the pressure, and assigns a “pass” or “fail” based on the rate of air infiltration. Test is completed in less than five seconds. Download your results to a PC through the RS-232 interface. The tester includes three attachments for different pipette tip sizes, from 2 to 10,000 µL. Replaceable air filter protects the leak tester from dust when it intakes air (replacements sold separately - model 07911-52). Replacement tube set with adapter is available as model 07911-51.
