This compact benchtop mill is suitable for grinding hard, brittle, soft, and fibrous materials along with oily and aqueous samples up to 50 mL. The granularity of the final product is determined by the duration of the grinding, the level to which the container is filled, and the physical properties of the material being processed. When working with light or small samples, the included reduction chamber can be used to grind samples as small as 1 to 5 mL.
For substances which become hot as a result of the grinding operation, the mill can be cooled via water or dry ice. Easily disassemble for cleaning and exchangeable blades make this mill ideal for a wide range of applications.
