Epoxy resin work surfaces are great for general laboratory work with high concentrations of solvent, acids, and alkalis are being used. The work surface is made of cast thermosetting epoxy resin, which allows for resistance to abrasions and heat. Black, 1 1/4"-thick resin is dished to contain spillage.
