More About this Item

The 1630-2 FC earth ground clamp meter eliminates the need to disconnect parallel grounds and place auxiliary test stakes in suitable locations. The dual-clamp jaw quickly and safely measures indoor and outdoor earth ground loop resistances for multi-grounded systems and identifies ac leakage currents. One half of the clamp indicates the known voltage while the other half measures the current. The heavy-duty clamp jaw is designed to stay in alignment and calibration even in the harshest environments. Electricians and technicians can perform ground tests in hard-to-reach areas such as inside buildings, high voltage pylons, cell phone substations, and RF transmitters.
Save time by automatically recording data at pre-set intervals. Ground resistance measurements can also be synced wirelessly to the cloud and referenced any time from your smartphone, tablet, or desktop by using the free Fluke Connect© app.
