Buffer is colored for quick-glance recognition and does not effect accuracy or stability. As of April 2018, Oakton will be using yellow for the color-reference of the pH 7 buffer solution instead of green. Standardized against NIST-traceable pH references for meters with 0.01 resolution. Sold as a case of four jugs; 1-gallon bottles are also available individually.

If unopened, shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture; once opened, use within 60 days. Store buffers away from direct sunlight.
