Pliable glass wool is manufactured from code no. 9989 glass and contains minimal heavy metals — suitable for use as a filtering medium. Fine glass fibers have diameters controlled to approximately 8 µm. Fiber glass wool is supplied in the form of roping approximately 2" dia x 22 ft long per 1-lb pack.
