These replacement porcelain crucible covers are glazed with the exception of the rim. They can withstand temperatures up to 1150 °C (2102 °F). In addition, the covers are resistance to acids and alkalies except for hydrofluoric acid.

The correct size crucible cover is the next size larger than the diameter of your crucible. Compatible with the Cole-Parmer® porcelain wide-form, low-form, high-form, and Gooch filter crucibles.
