These crucibles are glazed on inner and outer surfaces, except outer bottom and rim. Can withstand temperatures to 1150 °C (2102 °F) and heating rates up to 200 °C (392 °F) per hour. The porcelain crucibles provide resistance to acids and alkalies except for hydrofluoric acid.
