More About this Item

The importance of pore size is critical in the separation of large peptides and proteins. The use of a typical analytical silica template can lead to poor resolution, sensitivity, and recovery of biomolecules. The BIO C4 columns, specifically designed for large peptides and proteins sharp peak shapes, excellent analyte recovery, great reproducibility, and high sensitivity. The optimized bonding process of the BIO C4 ligand increases the surface coverage and removes secondary interactions leading to improved lifetime over other C4 columns.

Columns come in 316L stainless steel (SS) tubing hardware. A SS female end fitting with a SS and PEEK frit system keeps the stationary phase in place and packed bed from disturbance. The SS end fitting accepts a male 10-32 threaded nut with standard 1/16" OD tubing. Order in-line filters to protect your BIO C4 HPLC and UHPLC columns.
