BioDoc-It2 imaging system provides low-cost, high quality gel documentation and archiving capability-ideal for imaging DNA, RNA and protein gels. The system allows you preview live images and adjust for over saturation of images through a monochrome CCD camera and zoom lens with 640 x 480 VGA resolution. Seventeen preset integration times from 0.04 to 10 seconds are available to choose to optimum image capture. Computer is not required for the system.
BioDoc-It2 is the second generation imaging system with improvements which include: higher resolution camera at 5.0 megapixels, larger touch screen at 10", touch screen and table are built into the darkroom housing to create a streamline design, and a new software interface.
Images can be saved in JPEG, GIF, or TIFF format to the included 1GB USB thumb drive or transferred via available network connection. Order optional Doc-IT LS software to analyze images. The three-door option offers easy access to the darkroom interior via the wide access door on the side — ideal for sample placement or converter plates. UV safety switch turns the UV off when the door is opened.
