BioBasic 8 Columns contain 300Å pore size silica, which is ideally suited for medium-hydrophobicity peptides nominally less than 20,000 Da. Providing less hydrophobic retention than BioBasic 18 columns, BioBasic 8 columns are great starting columns for protein separations and may provide changes in elution patterns.
