The advanced engineered design of these upright freezers incorporates the latest in cabinet, refrigeration, temperature control, and monitoring features for reliable, energy-efficient performance. Advanced multifunction microprocessor controller with keypad and LCD provide the optimal conditions necessary for life science, pharmacy, biological, and industrial applications. The controller is mounted on the door at eye level to give you instant access to a real-time clock, event logging alarm history, advanced alarms, alarm test, and memory functions. Units also feature power failure alarm, door ajar indicator, surge and compressor protection, high/low temperature alarm, and a voltage boost/buck system that ensures proper operating voltage.
Cabinet construction features a high-impact, scratch and corrosion-resistant white painted galvanized steel interior and exterior, providing easy-to-clean surfaces. A combination of cabinet and door-mounted gaskets ensures multiple points of door sealing for reliable frost-resistant performance and enhanced energy efficiency. Five independently hinged steel interior doors are constructed of insulating material with magnetic catches and easy-pull handles, minimizing cold loss during sample retrieval. An easy-open outer door latch and handle allows one-handed operation and features a key with lock to protect access to freezer contents. Three heavy-duty adjustable door hinges ensure outer door fit and positive seal.
The refrigeration system is powered by a low-noise high-performance cascade refrigeration system using two 1 hp hermetically sealed compressors. Exclusive super-capacity capillary tube system delivers refrigerant on demand, matching with advanced heat exchanger design providing optimal heat removal. Evaporator design provides superior refrigerant flow and maximizes cooling power by ensuring the evaporator is always in contact with the freezer wall — increasing the overall efficiency, temperature uniformity, and recovery.
Available options include CO2/LN2 backup systems, chart recorder, and inventory racks.
