Sterilize metals and delicate items without corrosion or distortion
- Ideal for dissecting instruments, needles, and syringes
- Stainless steel heating elements never need replacing
This dry heat sterilizer is used when pressurized steam sterilization is not appropriate. Dry heat will not cause undesirable effects on sharp cutting edges, and will not corrode metal instruments. Dry heat sterilizers are safe for glass syringes — pressurized steam can distort ground glass surfaces and cause leakage.
Sterilizers are small enough to fit on your benchtop, yet provide ample space to handle your sterilizing needs. They feature a precision thermostat, two-hour timer, and glass wool insulation that minimizes heat loss. Sterilizing temperatures of 160° to 180°C are reached within 15 minutes. Safety limit control offers added protection from over-temperature situations. Sterilizers accommodate most standard instrument trays.
