The grinding method of these mills uses high-speed impeller rotation and air currents to throw particles into and around the grinding ring. The impact and abrasion reduce particle size until the material is small enough to flow through the exit with the air current. The airflow removes virtually all material from the chamber—no cleaning necessary. The flow through design allows continuous feeding—collect sample in collection bottles up to 1000 mL.
