The polyethylene terephthalate copolyester (PETG) serum vials are presterilized via gamma irradiation, sterile to SAL 10-6. These vials meet current biological and pharmaceutical regulatory standards including USP Class VI, noncytotoxic, nonpyrogenic, USP 661, European Pharmacopeia for Abnormal toxicity, and are Animal Derived Component Free (ADCF). The PETG vials are cleanroom production packaged with a blue tamper-evident polyethylene (PE) cap engaged. The transparent PETG vials feature molded graduations for reference measurements.
The polycarbonate (PC) serum vials and polypropylene (PP) caps come nonsterile with lot number traceability. These can be autoclaved, up to 125°C, and up to 10 autoclave cycles. The temperature range of these vials is -193 to 257°F (-125 to 125°C). The caps are packaged separately.
