These rotary evaporators were designed and engineered for ease of use, while maintaining the highest level of safety. Motorized lift is standard, making for easy removal of the evaporating flask from the hot water/oil bath. The motorized lift automatically removes evaporating flask from bath in case of a power failure to minimize loss of your experiment. Other safety features include individually adjustable temperature safety circuits, protection against boiling dry, adjustable end-point recognition to prevent glass breakage, and a locking function.
Specially designed glass guides allow the condenser to make efficient use of the 1500 cm2 cooling surface. Extended ramp programming capability allows you to carry out customized procedures. Other features include two digital displays for optimal viewing, adjustable immersion angle and height, interval mode, right or left rotation, timer function for time-lapse tests, and push-off mechanism to loosen tight-fitting glassware.
Ergonomic 3-L water/oil heating bath has a locking function for temperature settings from ambient to 180°C. Bath is designed with integrated ergonomic carrying handles for convenient positioning and oblong design for fast heating. It is controlled via the IR interface from the main unit.
Systems are available with standard glassware, with safety-coated glassware, or with no glassware. Safety-coated glassware is resistant to acids and solvents and protects against shattered glass.
Auto Pro Evaporators offer the same features as the auto evaporators plus the IKA VACSTAR vacuum pump and automatic boiling point detection. The pump is controlled directly from the drive unit of the evaporator via a data cable. Includes vacuum hoses and hose connectors for in-house cooling water supply.
