More About this Item

This solar analyzer is a vital instrument in the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of solar panels and used for determining proper inverter sizes, optimum power output position of panels, and in identifying broken or worn out cells. The portable design of this analyzer allows solar panel manufacturers to test the characteristics of panels in the production line - ensuring quality control before shipment. Installation engineers can easily test samples of solar panels in the field to verify the quality of the solar panels during installation. Unit monitors the voltage and current under actual operating conditions (in the morning, at noon, and in the afternoon) in order to design the optimal charging system allowing the solar power to be absorbed and stored in the battery. In addition, stored data can be used to help verify the optimal angle of the solar panels, to design an automated angle adjustment system, or even to select an optimal angle for a fixed angle installation. The intuitive menu driven interface makes set up, programming, and operation simple. Unit features a rugged design that is ideal for use on the production floor as well as out in the field.
