More About this Item

The Model 276 vacuum gauge incorporates two different sensors: thermocouple and piezoresistive. The thermocouple sensor reading is automatically taken by the meter below 5 Torr, and the piezoresistive sensor above 5 Torr. The piezoresistive transducer is less sensitive to gas composition, making this meter incredibly versatile in the Torr vacuum range. For applications requiring milliTorr readings, calculation or recalibration is necessary for gases with thermal conductivity significantly different from air.
